The Ceremony and Reception will both take place at the same venue/location: Knotted Roots on the Lake 3310 Land O’ Lakes Boulevard Land O’ Lakes, Florida 34639

For those traveling from out of town, the closest airport is Tampa International Airport, located approximately 30 minutes from venue and 20 minutes from The Hilton Garden Inn Suncoast Parkway. We recommend booking your flights early to ensure the best rates.

Please note that both our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors at Knotted Roots on the Lake. We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather. We can’t wait to celebrate with you by the lake and under the open sky!

The weather in Tampa can be unpredictable this time of year. One thing we know for sure: Hurricane season ends in November! Yay! Whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a chilly evening, we’ll be ready to celebrate with you! Keep an eye on the forecast and please come prepared for whatever nature has in store.

  We’re asking our guests to join us in semi-formal attire. Think suits and ties, cocktail dresses, or elegant separates. Please remember since we’ll be outdoors, make sure to bring layers for the changing weather!

We’re thrilled to have an open bar for our wedding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! We invite you to enjoy the drinks and festivities, but please remember to drink responsibly so everyone can have a safe and unforgettable evening. Let’s toast to a night of love, laughter, and great memories!

We love your little ones, but due to venue restrictions, we can only include children of close family. Thank you for making arrangements so that you can celebrate with us!

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Suncoast Parkway for your convenience. To book, please reference our wedding when making your reservation to receive a special rate. Your presence on our special day is more than enough! However, if you feel inclined to give, we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our future together in lieu of physical gifts. You can find more details and link on our “Registry: Endless Love” page.

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #MaritzaLovesEduardo and/or #EduardoLovesMaritza so we can see them, too!

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm so we recommend arriving at least 15-30 minutes early to ensure you’re seated comfortably.

If your invitation includes a plus-one, you will see it listed on your invitation. We have carefully chosen our guest list to include our closest family and friends, so we appreciate your understanding if additional guests cannot be accommodated.

There will be a cocktail hour starting immediately after the ceremony. Feel free to enjoy drinks and appetizers while we take a few photos with family and the bridal party.

We’ll be serving light snacks and refreshments during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner during our Reception and of course…dessert!

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, but our ceremony and reception are taking place at the same location/Venue. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Lyft/Uber are a great option for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink. If you plan to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Suncoast Parkway (we blocked a number of rooms at a reduced rate) please note that this hotel may offer a complimentary shuttle service (to venue and back) during designated hours.
